Claude Blames You and Me for Its Blackmailing Tactics.
According to Anthropic, the company behind Claude AI, the reason their AI blackmailed a CEO is that the public has a particular view on AI.
The internet portrays AI as “Evil” if their existence is threatened, and so natuarlly, Claude adopted this persona.
Anthropic caught the character flaw through internal testing and has worked with the model to stamp it out.
But I still wonder what other personality traits exist that have not been uncovered yet.
